• It is our pleasure to announce the 2022 World Class Tae Kwon Do Championship!

    Students of all ages and levels will have the opportunity to compete in forms & board breaking in a fair, safe and supportive environment. The purpose is not simply to determine a victor, but to encourage all competitors to bring out their best effort. No matter what the outcome of your competition, preparing and pushing yourself to the next level is the true value in our Championship.

    We encourage each and every student to participate in this event and be part of this WORLD CLASS experience. 

    ELIGIBILITY: All of World Class Tae Kwon Do students are eligible to compete and participate. Each student will be placed in divisions with similar age, rank and size as the instructors see fit. For each event and/or competition, review the specific rules and eligibility on the Rules Posters.

    REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Friday, April 1st. Early registration is strongly encouraged. Completed applications with registration fees should be turned in to your instructors or completed online.

    EVENT AWARDS: Events and divisions will have up to 4 competitors. Divisions may be separated by age, belt, weight, and gender, as your instructors deem necessary for fair competition. There will be a 1st place, 2nd place and two 3rd places awarded. For Form and Breaking there will be a single performance. Awards will be presented throughout the day as divisions are completed. Other event awards and specifics can be reviewed on the rules under each event.

  • This event is for white belt and higher students.

    Students will be placed in divisions with similar ages and ranks as the instructors see fit. Most divisions will have 4 competitors.

    Form Competition will be judged on:

    1. Correct and orderly execution of each movement

    2. Degree of proficiency and proper technique execution

    All competitors are awarded; One 1st place, one 2nd place and two 3rd place.

  • This event is for white belt and higher students.

    Students will be placed in divisions with similar ages and ranks as the instructors see fit. Most divisions will have 4 competitors.

    Breaking Competition will be judged on:
    1. Number of tries to break boards

    2. Presentation of technique including intensity, energy, balance& respect

    All competitors will break (2) boards. All competitors are awarded; One 1st place, one 2nd place and two 3rd place.

    BELT BREAKING TECHNIQUES

    White Belts: Hammer Fist and Foot-to-foot Side Kick

    Yellow Belts: Elbow Strike and Back Leg Side Kick

    Green Belts: Palm Strike and Axe Kick

    Blue Belts: Knifehand Strike and Back Kick

    Red Belts: Knifehand and Spinning Kick

    Black Belts: One Hand Technique and One Kicking Technique

  • LITTLE TIGER SPIRIT EVENT will consist of 2 competitors at a time demonstrating the following:

    A. Horseriding Stance with basic punches

    B. Kicking Stance with yell (kihap)

    C. Front Snap Kick (4 each leg)

    All competitors are presented the same awards.

    LITTLE TIGER BOARD BREAKING will consist of 2 competitors performing Hammerfist & Foot-to-Foot Side Kick.
    All competitors are presented the same awards.

    12:00 p.m. Halftime Black Belt Demo Performance

    12:45 p.m. Blue Belts - Black Belts (All Ages) Form & Board Breaking
